Unsere Frühjahrs-Afrika-Reise hatten wir nach meiner schweren OP leider kurzfristig absagen müssen. Und dass diese Afrika-Reise klappen würde, stand erst vor zwei Wochen fest, als mir meine Kardiologin grünes Licht gab für Afrika – und von Lena kam dann die passende „Wenn nicht jetzt …“-Folie für Toyo (Danke Lenchen!).
Und mit dabei sind (s. Foto, v.l.) Ernst + Martina (wie schon so häufig), Lore (natürlich) sowie Jutta + Werner (erstmals). Unsere Reise geht von Johannnesburg mehr oder weniger genau nach Norden, bis Livingstone (Sambia). Karte folgt …
Our spring trip to Africa had to be canceled at the last minute due to my serious surgery. It wasn’t until two weeks ago that we knew this trip would actually happen, as my cardiologist finally gave me the green light for Africa. Lena also provided the perfect slide for Toyo (thank you!). Joining us are Ernst + Martina (as they have so often before), Lore (of course), and Jutta + Werner (for the first time) [see photo, from left]. Our journey will take us from Johannesburg more or less directly north to Livingstone, Zambia.
