Abgesehen vom Nashorn haben wir im Mikumi Nationalpark immerhin vier der „Big Five“ mit der Kamera eingefangen. Wir sind fasziniert von der bildschönen etwa dreijährigen Leopardin bis zu dem „once in a lifetime“-Erlebnis, wie eine sechs Meter lange Python eine Impala-Antilope erwürgt und verschlingt. Aber die Natur ist nicht nur grausam, sondern (s. das letzte Foto heute) liefert auch Szenen wie im Märchen – oder?
Apart from the rhino, we caught four of the „Big Five“ with our cameras in Mikumi National Park. We are fascinated by the beautiful three-year-old leopardess and the „once in a lifetime“ experience of a six-metre-long python strangling and devouring an impala antelope. However, nature is not only cruel, but (see the last photo today) also delivers scenes like in a fairy tale – right?
